Charvel is stoked with all the fresh Dinky offerings we have for our hungry fans to devour in 2018 and to catch you up with both our Winter and Summer NAMM releases, here’s a quick look at 12 all-new DK models.
Making it’s debut at Summer NAMM is the Pro-Mod DK24 HSS 2PT CM, available in a time-to-hit-the-beach Satin Shell Pink. This model delivers unbelievably full and versatile tone with an HSS pickup configuration consisting of a Custom Seymour Duncan® Full Shred SH-10B bridge pickup, Seymour Duncan® Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 single-coil middle pickup and Seymour Duncan® Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 RWRP single coil neck pickup.
Other all-new features for this 24-fret 2PT model include a two-piece bolt-on caramelized maple speed neck with graphite reinforcement, 12″-16″ compound radius caramelized maple fingerboard, sculpted heel, Stratocaster®-style speed knobs for the volume (with 500K EVH® Bourns® low-friction potentiometer) and no-load tone controls and recessed Gotoh® Custom 510 tremolo bridge. For an added touch, Luminlay side dots light your way, allowing you to tear into any jam even on the darkest of stages.
If the Satin Shell Pink isn’t quite your vibe, we’ve also got this same HSS model in a battle-ready Primer Gray. Instead of the parchment pickup covers and speed knobs, this axe gets black speed knobs and pickup covers.
Designed for a new breed of player whose musical vision and versatility is limitless, the DK24 HSH 2PT CM shares similar traits as the HSS model above, but instead packs that HSH configuration with a Custom Seymour Duncan® Full Shred SH-10B bridge pickup, Seymour Duncan® Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 single-coil middle pickup and Seymour Duncan® Alnico II Pro APH-1N neck pickup.
With its parchment pickup covers, numbered speed dials and a no-nonsense Matte Army Drab finish, this axe radiates an old-school vibe.
Looking to stand out a bit more from the pack? Our Satin Orange Crush finish is an absolute stage-stealer — as hot as the scorching Saraha Desert.
Beautiful and raw, our Pro-Mod DK24 HH FR E Okoume blends supercharged power with the unmatched appeal of a lightweight, okoume tonewood body. The Natural satin finish, aged ebony fingerboard and black hardware complete the guitar with a level of sophistication not found elsewhere.
Explore the the heaviest riffs, tastiest leads or angelic clean tones with a Seymour Duncan® Full Shred SH-10B bridge pickup and a Seymour Duncan Jazz SH-2N neck pickup with five-way blade switching, master volume and a No-Load tone control.
For something a bit more chic, look no further than the Pro-Mod DK24 HH FR M QM, which adds an eye-catching quilt maple top to the alder body. The glassy Trans Purple Burst finish with black hardware rounds out the already impressive package that includes a maple fingerboard and recessed Floyd Rose® 1000 series double-locking tremolo bridge system.
Thirsty for more? Take a swig of the Pro-Mod DK24 HH FR M QM in our Trans Root Beer Burst. The polished quilt maple top merged with gold hardware and white pickup bobbins creates a storied, rich look.
Fear not hardtail enthusiasts, the Pro-Mod DK24 HH HT M replaces the tremolo bridge system with a Charvel HT6 string-through body hardtail bridge. Topped with quilt maple and coated in a psychedelic Purple Phaze paint job, you might just get a little lost in this incredible finish.
Another hardtail option can be found in the Pro-Mod DK24 HH HT M Ash, which takes the innate beauty of an ash wood body and scorches it to an inky Charcoal Gray tint that underscores and enhances the natural grain structure, making for a brooding but alluring mix.
With a classic color combination, the Pro-Mod DK24 HH FR M’s Satin Black finish, gold hardware, and white pickup bobbins create a truly gorgeous axe with a timeless look.
Flash and class is what the ultra-clean Pro-Mod DK24 HH FR M in Snow White is all about. Gold hardware and white pickup bobbins complete this debonair metal monster.
Last but certainly not least, our signature model for modern day glam rock god Russ “Satchel” Parrish has been flying off the shelves since its release earlier this year. This unique axe calls back to 1987 when big hair and even bigger sound reigned supreme. Combining a glaringly bright florescent Yellow Bengal striped finish with two Fishman® Fluence Classic humbucking pickups, this guitar delivers ideal-but-elusive vintage tone in an in-your-face package. Spandex not included.
